A small but symbolic piece of direct action, as locals and supporters deliver hot Fish and Chips to the workers! It's Day 11 of the Occupation at Vestas Wind Turbine Factory on the Isle of Wight. Vestas, the only wind turbine blade factory in the Uk is under occupation by 10 of it's workers in protest at the management's profit lead plans to cease production, and subsequently the British Governments incapability to Help keep the skills there after recent pledges to support Green Jobs. It's particularly amazing considering the banks where bailed out with over 1 Trillion Pounds this year! WORKER RUN CO-OP's is what we need, seize production!
