Book TV: Van Jones "The Green Collar Economy"
Van Jones, president and founder of Green for All and Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress, presents a plan to help the economy and the environment, which he argues are hurting due to a reliance on nonrenewable energy sources. Mr. Jones asserts that investing in green alternatives (solar, wind power, and hybrid engines) will promote the financial and ecological well being of the country as well as provide jobs for the working class. This event was hosted by the University of Washington Bookstore in Seattle.
