Sum Of Change | 08 July 2010 Brown Is Green- UPS and Electric Trucks from the Good Jobs Green Jobs Conference. Outside of the Good Jobs, Green Jobs Conference held in Washington, D.C. on May 5, 2010 stood two very different yet very similar brown trucks; one a 1935 classic Walker brown truck, and the other as equally recognizable, but a touch more modern. The 2010 UPS delivery mobile is being considered the world's most efficient delivery truck. Arnold Wellman, Vice President of Public Affairs for UPS introduced the two energy efficient trucks at the conference not only to show off the new, modern green-friendly trucks driving around but to remind people that UPS has been environmentally conscious since the 1930's.
